Never Catch Me 這首歌出自於Flying Lotus的專輯 《You're Dead!》，這張專輯的主題是「死亡」，實在是很新鮮的點子。

這首與Kendrick Lamar合作，探討生與死究竟是什麼，人往往恐懼死亡，但是不跳脫框架、踏不出自己的思維的人才是真正的死了。人的靈魂可以超越肉體的限制、超越肉體的死亡，當你的靈魂得以傳承下去，就沒有任何事物可以束縛你了。 務必欣賞MV，非常棒的意境。

如果牆會說話的話，人們在房子、房間裡做的事、藏的秘密都可能被這些牆洩漏。很多用法是有人想知道別人的秘密，感嘆說”If these walls could talk…”希望這些牆告訴我秘密。

P.S.在Kendrick的專輯《To Pimp A Butterfly》中的歌曲These Walls也是由這句話開頭。(感謝David的提醒^_^)

註2) this that crack, the installation

Crack是古柯鹼，中文也有稱快克。在這邊連著下一句也可以是crack the installation，破解安裝的意思。Kendrick形容音樂就是他的興奮劑。

註3) embalming fluid waiting

embalming fluid是防腐液，可用來保存屍體。防腐液在等著你，換句話說就是「你的死期將近」。

MV中的兩個小孩離開棺材、離開人們悲傷落淚的告別式，他們反而是雀躍的跳著舞、奔向自由，或許影片要表達的是，死亡是一種靈魂的解脫，在世的人無法理解，我們看到人的肉體失去生命便感到悲傷，但也許對脫離肉身的靈魂來說，一切只是開始。
